The Kindergarten Annex where Rachel attends school just finished up Career week. There were special activities every day. On Thursday the kids had to dress up as what they wanted to be when they grow up. Rachel's first choice was an artist. She was going to wear all white and take some paint with her. Her very close, 2nd place, choice was a ballerina. When the day arrived to choose what she was going to wear, the frilly pink tutu won out over the all white outfit.
Then today the kids got to enjoy Field Day. I was able to volunteer the entire morning. It was so much fun watching Rachel interact with her teacher & her friends.
At Taylor's school it was "Right to Read" week. Again, each day held something fun and different. Today they were able to dress up like a book character. Can you guess who Taylor is?

This afternoon I was able to be Taylor's class surprise reader. It was a good finish to a great week.

What?!?! Rachel doesn't want to be a teacher like her Mommy wants to? I'm shocked!
BTW, I guess I'm a moron...I thought Taylor was Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz in that picture. Duh!!

That is funny you thought that because Taylor did too at first. Then she remembered that Dorthy's dress was checkered. It really is an Alice in Wonderland costume but it happens to be what Belle wore too.
Taylor wants to be the teacher, by the way :)
