My family

Taylor has been dealing with a head cold for two weeks now. Her daddy finally took her to the doctor yesterday because her cough had decided to take up residency in her chest. The doctor told us that she had an ear infection and put her on some meds. She has only missed one day of school through all of this which is a miracle. That girl has missed about 9 days of school this year. The last time she was not feeling well I sent her to school only to have the nurse call me and tell me she was throwing up in the classroom. Poor teacher!

Except for the stomach flu I was so kind to pass along to her, Rachel has been relatively healthy this winter. Thank goodness. She is having way too much fun playing with her High School Musical Barbie dolls to be sick. She also just loves pre-K. (It is not preschool -- that is very offensive to her!). She is reading short sentences like "Mom gets gas". She is learning how to read a clock and count money too. Can this possibly be my baby?!

My husband is playing a weekly basketball game and tries to remember that he is a Sunday School teacher and deacon in our church. His extreme competitiveness makes that hard sometimes! But it is a good few hours one night a week that he can go blow off some steam and relax with the boys!
More to come on a later day!

I have to know when this picture was taken - so much green! We are living in Siberia, I think! We have had a snow day at least once a week for weeks! Today was another one - really quite wonderful, actually! Miss you guys!
