Tonight was Taylor's award night at school. We sat through a terribly boring PTO meeting but were rewarded at the end by seeing our oldest daughter recognized for her outstanding character and respect. That was a great moment as a parent! She was so proud of herself too. As I did her hair tonight (she requested that it be curly) she talked to me about school, friends, and things going on in her class. I think she might be growing up on me. After the award ceremony, we took the girls to UDF for ice cream. Now she is watching American Idol so she couldn't have had a better night!

My very stubborn husband finally went to see the allergist today. The results were . . . well, they were flaming! His arm was swollen from the test shots and it itched like crazy. This was the final step of not being able to take any allergy medicine for 7 days. He has never been so happy to chug some Benadryl as he was after the appointment. The allergist told him he was basically allergic to all things outdoors and dust mites. (You can hear me groaning right? Does this mean I have to dust the house every day?!) In fact, his allergies are so bad that the medicine does not fit in one shot so he will have to have two shots each time. I just hope this finally gives him some relief!
That is it for now! Love to you all reading this blog & caring enough to keep up-to-date on our lives!
